15KW Solar System

Had our new 13Kw system installed today. The guys were very professional and we were very happy with their install. Have used them on 3 properties now as they are good value and excellent service. They had to use scissors to reach our 3 story roof, hence the higher cost for our property.

The panel installation went smoothly and updates were made regarding progress. Inspite of our site being difficult to access the solar installers, were able to install the panels. The customer service team member Daniel was very prompt at responding to my queries. He gave timely updates prior to installation and during and after installation of solar. We are happy with the service.

John is very friendly and helpful with the solar panels selection. He also provides a very competitive price as well.

Alex Smith has been professional, knowledgeable, and helpful from our first contact. Attentive to details and quick to provide detailed quote and arrange everything step with a full explanation. Raed, the imstaller was also professional and the installation process was done with what appeared to be ease. The only issue was a problem regaeding noise in extremely hing winds during a storm; however this was attaended to. We have had to have a roofer come and insect the new colourbond roof however on finding nothing wrong with discovered two loose screws- that probably accounted for the probaly accounted for the intermitte for the intermittent bangging (metal on metal sounding) during the stoms and we have not had any issues since then. Resetting the Growatt inverter is not a particularly easy task- however upon getting a new modem/router we managed after a few goes to have the inverter connrcted again.

Captain Green installed our first system and batteries eight years ago and have installed three systems in total on our homes as we have moved. At all times they have been efficient and delivered on time and on budget. All system installed are still working extremely well and have reduced our power bill to a stage where we are always in credit with our provider. Other family members have used captain green also and are very happy with the results. One very positive thing is that with what they recommended we are never without power even during extended power blackouts.

Matt was proficient in providing a competitive quote for a 6.6kw system outlining the type of panels and inverter to be installed to replace my existing 1.5kw system. Mark effectively organised the installation of the system and provided support when required. Both Matt and Mark communicated all aspects from the quote to installation. The installers arrived on the scheduled date, on time and were efficient and professional, happily answering my questions and cleaning up after themselves and taking away the old panel and inverter. The whole process from quote to install took approximately 1 month including up to 10 days to get approval to connect to the grid from the energy provider.

High capacity panels 440 Watts makes good use of the available rood area. I bought my solar system from Captain Green a few years ago and it was very good value for money. I recently had an issue with my inverter which turned out needed replacement under warranty. I was super impressed by the customer service with Bharti from Captain Green checking in with me regularly and keeping me updated. The replacement process was very fast and painless.

Yaseen and his team were great and walked us through the process from start to finish. Raed, who did the install was knowledgeable and friendly and explained clearly how our system works and what’s possible and not. We put a 5.85kw system in, instead of the usual 6.6kw, as we couldn’t fit 2 last panels on our roof. We went with Jinko panels and a sungrow inverter. The app is great and easy to set up and use. In summer, we produce a lot more than we would ever dream to use and send a substantial amount back into the grid. The last winter was pretty damn cloudy many days so we were sometimes not generating what we needed. Good weather days all good though and still worth having the system over this time. Those additional panels would be handy though in trying weather! Considering getting a battery in future but still weighing up their value..

No problems. Bit surprised really with all the horror stories you hear but it was an install in a house that had good access and they carried out the job with no issues. System seems to be working well. Neighbour has a microinverter system which we don't have but we seem to be getting similar daily kWh.

I wanted to instal solar panels but was worried that a huge gum tree on my neighbour's property, which gum tree blocked the north side of my house would shadow all panels on the north. Lisa emailed me photos which showed the gum tree casting shadows over the proposed panels in all seasons. She advised that it was not cost effective for me to instal solar, given that I live alone and my electricity bills were not high enough to justify the costs of solar. I am very impressed with her honesty and ethical conduct.

I wasn't actually around for the installation but I found the lead up to installation and the after sales service excellent. Phil was quite ok for me to ring him several times post installation to ask questions about how to use and understand the inverter. I was very impressed. Pre sale they were excellent as well. And the price was a lot less than 2 other quotes I had. I would definitely recommend them.

I am one pleased customer! Highly recommend Captain Green and will be referring them to our friends and family! I came across Captain Green from Solar Quotes and thought I would give them a shot. System: 35 x 300w Jinkos, 10kw Fronius Inverter + Fronious Smart Meter Location: Kellyville, NSW I had rung a few other companies however people were just taking my number down and would not call back (I did get through to a few other companies but after reading their reviews I wasn't going to use them just got quotes). I rang Captain Green late afternoon and got connected through to Aaron (do your self a favour and speak to Aaron). He was not pushy at all, did not get frustrated when I kept asking a million questions and did not mind running through different options when I wanted to try and fit some panels on our north facing roof. He is very knowledgeable and explained things in detail for me. I spoke to him on the 3/4/19 and the next day after not hearing back from any of the other highly rated companies - I rang him back negotiated a better price and we did a deal and I paid my deposit. After leaving my deposit the other 4-5 companies had submitted their quotes and they were all well over the price I had negotiated with Captain Green! Whilst waiting for authority approval to install I went back and forth with Aaron thinking I had made the wrong decision to go East - West Split. I called him once daily with my concerns but he talked me through it - Worked out what the difference would be and the benefits of either scenario. He even talked me out off adding another system for the northern roof (who tells you to not spend more money). I'm glad he did though as I don't think we will need a system larger than what we have now. His advice was to go with what we had ordered - Run through a few bill cycles and review after that. That's what you want to hear from your sales consultant - Rather than the usual upsell!! From then I was in contact with Dipti who was handling my install - She was understanding (and very helpful) and worked around what dates suited us best. Our system was installed yesterday by Tony (recommended by Aaron) and his team - I cannot speak of them highly enough. They were prompt, very very very polite and efficient. Workman ship quality is perfect! We have a double story house and all cables are hidden - there are no exposed conduits whatsoever. The inverter install is also very neat. They started arrived around 8am and started around 8.30am and were here till after 6pm. Our install was a big job given we had 35 panels and on top of that we had requested the Fronius smart meter which involved alot of extra wiring (most of the work was in the wiring). Everything was left neat and tidy all rubbish was removed. Due to the sun setting Tony was unable to test the system and came back today (Good Friday) and spent an hour with me setting up the inverter and setting up the wifi monitoring on my phone. I was amazed he offered to come back today when he could have said today was a public holiday (which I would have understood). I am truly amazed with the service we have received from Captain Green Solar through out the whole process from Sales through to Install.

Captain Green Solar and their electrical contractor PSE Electrical were able to get my solar installed quickly and professionally. Was able to install a 6.6KW system without a glitch. System after rebate would pay itself off in under 2 years. Solar generated on a clear day in Autumn has peaked over 30kw. I have been recommended CGS to anyone who is after the best of the budget systems.

The team of 3 electricians came out, we discussed where to place the Zever inverter [in the garage & out of the sun, where it SHOULD be,] & they got stuck into it. I have just panel fitted at my home in lake Macquarie and was extremely happy with the locally-based electrician who installed them. Clinton is a very experienced & Courteous electrician and spent some considerable time consulting with me about the process. Very much appreciated. i also found the office staff, Grace in particular, very helpful. i don't know other areas, but my experience here in the hunter region has been 100% great.

i just had a 12kw system installed within one week of deposit, thanks to rain in Sydney. my NSW country installation got bumped up the list from the scheduled 6 weeks. i just can't fault these guys. They were the lowest of 3 quotes, friendly helpful sales staff, and the installer Belal, and his team were extremely hardworking and knowledgeable. The installers drove 3.5 hrs from Sydney, worked 10hrs on my installation, and then drove home. I asked for some special requirements around installing the inverter inside the garage and up high, and they were very accommodating. I will recommend Captain Green to anyone.

Captain Green Solar installed a 5KW system for me in November 2017 and it has been performing to specification ever since. I have had 2 electricity bills so far receiving 15 cents per kilowatt generated after consumption and the first bill was $113 in credit, the second an extra $4 in credit. Although I live alone, it is a large 4-bedroom house and I am careful about the use of power. Good start with Sales team and very good end with installtion team. Excellent team of installers who adjusted and customised the solar panel distribution on the roof for best possible perfomance of the system. Especially henry went to the length, to accommodate 9 panels on the northern side of roof by relocating Whirlybird and a pipe!!
