Solar Hot Water Rebates

The State and Government rebates are available to owner occupiers that are replacing an existing electric hot water system.

State Rebate

The NSW Government offers a rebate of $300 for solar or heat pump hot water systems installed when replacing an existing electric hot water system.

Federal Rebate

The Federal Rebate is $1,000 for solar hot water systems or $600 for a heat pump system.

Renewable Energy Certificates (REC’S)

RECs are created as a result of the installation of the solar hot water system.

One REC is equivalent to one megawatt hour of electricity generation. A Renewable Energy Certificate can be traded for cash and the value of these certificates fluctuates according to market conditions. Basically, a REC is a form of renewable energy currency and through, you can cash in your RECs with us to use as a point of sale discount!
